Three different meanings of faster

Planting recharge, an instant reset, and attack speed follow different rules.

A seed packet can finish recharging sooner, skip its recharge after use, or belong to a plant that attacks faster. Those are different changes. The Speed-up Clock provides the first two; its name does not make it an attack-speed item.

Follow the effect type

The Speed-up Clock declares fast_plant, clear_planting, and, at higher levels, plant_sun_refund. It does not declare improved_atk_rate.

The distinction is visible in where values go. Planting recharge modifies a seed-packet factor. Attack speed changes the plant's attack-interval factor. The separate effect named fast_cooldown belongs to another category again; it should not be substituted for either one.11Accessory entries supply the numbersSuper quality selects SuperBoostList by stored level, admitting indices 0–5 for the six-entry MaxLevel-5 items. Invalid levels fall back to Boosts, which is empty for these items. The aggregator sums matching entry Values[0]. The referenced PlantBoostPropertySheet binds Type only; its own Values declaration is not the effect magnitude consumed here. Purple Glove plant-food entries are 0.10, 0.15, and 0.18 at levels 3–5.0x1015d4f800x10184c6200x1017423fc

A contribution goes into the denominator

Let bb be the sum of planting-recharge contributions and TT a base interval. The recharge fold is

f=11+b,T′=Tf.f=\frac{1}{1+b},\qquad T'=Tf.

At the Clock's level 5, its contribution is 0.37. With other contributions zero, a base interval of 10 becomes approximately 7.30. Subtracting 37% from the interval would instead give 6.30, which is a different calculation.

Multiple contributions enter the sum before the division. They are not separately multiplied as a sequence of discounts. Other packet modifiers can subsequently change the factor. The explorer isolates this recharge fold and exposes other contributions to its sum.22Recharge factor and the reset rollThe seed packet stores 1 / (1 + sum fast_plant) at +0x20c. Other setup paths can subsequently modify that field. clear_planting is stored separately at +0x214. On the eligible packet-use path a global float draw below that value selects code 2 rather than code 3. Localized text links that branch to the recharge reset; the numeric state names are an inference, not a recovered enum.0x101916fb00x101917d5c0x10191c094

Plate 11.1A base interval of 10 seconds, the Speed-up Clock at level 5 contributing 0.37, and 0.00 from other planting-recharge contributions.b = 0.37 + 0.00 = 0.37; f = 1 / (1 + 0.37) = 0.7299; T′ = 10 × f = 7.30 s

Reset is a separate chance

The six Clock levels, 0–5, have reset values 0.10, 0.16, 0.19, 0.25, 0.31, and 0.37. The recharge contribution follows the same ladder, but equality of the values does not combine the mechanisms.

On the eligible packet-use path, the handler takes a draw and compares it strictly with clear_planting. The successful branch selects the reset outcome; the other branch selects ordinary recharging. A faster recharge factor does not itself consume a random draw.

At level 5, therefore, the item combines a 0.37 reset chance with a recharge contribution of 0.37. One changes whether the recharge starts; the other changes the duration when it does.

The sun-refund entries are pairs. The reference preserves both values, without turning them into an extra recharge effect.

A tooltip can lag behind the data

The related Small Clock has a concrete mismatch at level 4. Its two configured values are 22%, but the description says 19% for both. The refund clause advances to 13% correctly. The partial update makes this more specific than a general translation problem.33Text, data, and display orderSmall Clock SuperBoostList[4] supplies 0.22 / 0.22 / [0.13,1], while its level-4 text prints 19% / 19% / 13%. Sun Helmet stun-interval text prints 6 and 4 at levels 4 and 5, against declared 7 and 6. Queen Ice Crown id 21056 is absent from the priority list; the display comparator places listed accessories before unlisted ones.0x100f6657c0x101542ac8

The six Speed-up Clock descriptions agree with their own value ladder. The mismatch belongs to the Small Clock; extending it to the entire family would be inaccurate.
